The Ecstasy of Being

All of human activity is engagement in relative existence. The fundamental reason for everything we do is to re-affirmation our own existence. Thought and everything it creates is to serve this purpose. So what is it like to live beyond the constraints of relative existence? Consciousness reliant upon relative existence equates such a state to non-existence. However, it is the exact opposite.

Absolute existence is existence itself. Abidance as such is perfect contentment, bliss. Immersed in the ecstasy of Being, there is nothing to be done, nowhere to go. In this sense Being is spiritual completion. Once Self is found, karma ceases, for where is there to go from perfect contentment? This completion is not an ending so much as a simple recognition that All is, and has always been, whole, complete, perfect. Nothing is lacking; nothing is required. Nothing can be taken away from Self and nothing can be added to Self. It is complete.

What ends is the ego; the illusion projected by mind. What begins is a new perspective. It is a perspective that includes the observer. It is All at once. Where to go? What to do?

Bliss...
